KPop Saturdays: Brown-Eyed Girls “One Summer Night” 한 여름밤의 꿈

I really thought this was a great video by Brown Eyed Girls, and a touching summer story:

Brown Eyed Girls is a more mature group, and most of their songs are fierce (Sixth Sense), heart-breaking, and/or risqué (e.g. Abracadabra), but they always put on a strong performance and this song is no exception. They really have some great vocals, and it’s nice to see another side to the group.

Interestingly, it’s filmed in Japan, not Korea, and after doing a bit of sleuthing, I figured out where it was filmed. It is in Kanagawa Prefecture (where my wife’s family lives), in the town of Abuzuri (鐙摺):

Interestingly, I’ve passed Zushi Station (逗子駅, the sign at the beginning of the MV) a number of times, so it’s interestingly to see it used in a KPop music video.

Anyhow, enjoy!
