Recently, my sister-in-law living in Japan sent me this photo from her camera-phone. This is Mount Fuji in the winter time, taken aboard the Bullet Train (Shinkansen) on the way home from Osaka. It’s so cold, that the air is clear, and the snow is really white. The clear blue sky really makes feel like it’s winter. Great photo and thank you!

最近、義理の姉は携帯でこの写真を撮って送ってくれました。これは冬の富士山です。大阪から新幹線で撮りました。冬なので、空気が澄んでいて富士山がはっきりと見えて、雪が真っ白です。あの青空を見ると、本当に冬の感じがしますね。お姉さん、素敵な写真をありがとうございました。
